The above lists are a representation of what you may find me spinning in a club or just hanging out at home while drinking a cold one.
I'll try to add enough info to help you locate some of these gems.
I might even add descriptions soon. I'll never include a rating system. There is too much music in the world to dwell on what you don't like or put down music you don't enjoy.
I have been asked to make some CDs for a friends bar. The choices of what to include on each are staggering but also limited to what makes good bar music. This got me thinking of more lists. For years I have purchasing music for one of the owners which we deemed "Gotta Haves" or "Must Haves."
Lists that I am currently working on are "Jazz to Drink By," "Crying in My Beer - Country to Drink By," "Drinking and Diving - Car and Surf Tunes to Drink By," and of course "The Gotta Haves."
